Steve McMahon lectures on recent developments in the study of pain mechanisms. He discusses research into the molecules and genes that might determine the human experience of pain, and examines studies on twins to give insight into the heritability of pain traits.
This lecture was filmed at an event called 'The Management of Pain' at the Royal Society of Medicine in London.
