Roger Corder lectures on the health benefits on red wine consumption. He examines how daily moderate alcohol consumption is associated with reduced cardiovascular disease and all-cause mortality, and emphasises the importance of combining this with other healthy lifestyle factors.
Roger Corder also looks at flavanol-rich red wines containing high levels of procyanidins and their possible link to healthier ageing.
This lecture was part of an event called ‘Alcohol: balancing risks and benefits’ at The Royal Society of Medicine in London.
