In this talk Dr Kevin Murphy lays out the hurdles that an applicant should expect to face as they apply for medical school. He talks about the A level Requirements and the aptitude tests that applicants will be expected to pass. He also discusses work experience placements and how to get the most from the opportunity they present. Finally he gives advice on how to approach the interview process, and aspects that admissions tutors look for.

This talk was filmed at an event called 'Medical careers day: so you want to be a doctor?'.

Date of Lecture: 5th March 2012.
