Mr Samer Nashef discusses the impact that transparency of individual mortality rates has on surgeons' performance. Mr Nashef also covers improving cardiac outcomes by drawing variable life adjusted display (VLAD) curves, collecting risk-adjusted data, and using functional image analysis software.
