Professor Bregje D. Onwuteaka-Philipsen (Associate Professor, VU Medical Center, EMGO Institute for Health and Care Research, Amsterdam) argues against the idea of a 'slippery slope' in relation to assisted suicide, using findings from the Netherlands, where voluntary euthanasia has been legalised. Part of the 'Ethics of Assisted Suicide' event.
