Dr Roy Palmer takes a look at death certification, inquests and the role of coroners in the modern healthcare system. Roy assesses the recent Coroners Regulations and Rules legislation that came into effect in 2013, and the best coronary procedures advised by this. Roy also weighs up the statutory duties of doctors, and the consequences of error.
