Harry Antoniades emphasises that liver disease is an increasingly common problem for patients in the UK, and focuses his talk on how to manage inpatients with decompensated liver disease. Throughout the lecture, Antoniades explores infection triggers, sepsis, SRIS and bacterial translocation.
