Dr Mark Griffiths defines the nuances in the subcategories of internet addiction, particularly gaming and social networking addictions in young people. Considering the typical addiction components model, Dr Griffiths discusses the content and context of social media usage in adolescence, and provides tips on ways to 'digitally detox'.
