Anjum Bashir gives a talk on the neuropsychiatry of childhood brain injury. He discusses plasticity and vulnerability, and the effect of maturation on functional development after trauma. Bashir then looks at the medication that can be used in children with behavioural issues relating to an earlier brain injury.
This lecture was part of an event called ‘The pros and cons of using medication with children and adolescents with development disorders’ at The Royal Society of Medicine in London.
