Miss Clare Marx looks briefly at the history and progression of women in leadership roles within the health profession, before assessing the present day issues surrounding female representation. Finally Clare asks 'Does it matter?', and offers a framework and strategy through which more women can obtain, and have access to, leadership roles within healthcare.
