David Haslam provides an update on NICE and the current challenges it faces. How has the decision making process changed, and what is their current role in medicine? Although there are challenges, Haslam suggests that innovative medicine is driven by NICE, and is essential for the future.
The lecture was filmed at an event called 'Can the NHS afford not to fund innovative medicines?' at the Royal Society of Medicine in London.
